so is the tea party becoming into a serious thing? I for one never took them seriously but I turn on npr this morning and I hear that they’re having a convention!?! not only that, sarah palin is the keynote speaker. i know they want to be an actual third party because they feel disenfranchised with the gop, but i don’t know if it would ever actually happen. i’ve always thought that we need a third party and if the tea party is that party then I think it could be beneficial…maybe they’ll steal votes from the gop like nader stole votes from the dnc. That way neither the gop or the tea party would rake in enough votes to win any election….. i don’t know.
